- The Knights would get out to a strong 5-0 lead as Eric Norr picked up two quick goals for SVU. William English would get the Pacers on the board to cut the score to 5-1, but the Knights would take a 7-1 lead heading into the 2nd.
- Riely Murray would notch a goal on the man-up, assisted by Drew Von Werne, in the 2nd for a 7-2 game. Devin Noonan would follow up a few minutes later, assisted by William Murray, for a 7-3 game. The Knights would put on some late pressure for a 9-3 lead at the half.
- The Knights would increase their lead to 10-3 in the 3rd before a goal from William Murray would bring it to 10-4. Tristan Carter and Jack Barbee (assisted by Charlie Beam and William English) would both tally late in the 3rd as SVU would take a 12-6 lead.
