RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's lacrosse defeated Greensboro College by a score of 14-9. This also marked the program's first victory over the Pride.

KEY POINTS
- Greensboro would take a quick 1-0 lead in the first before a goal from Riely Murray, assisted by Drew Von Werne, would tie it 1-1. The Pride would go up 2-1, but Brewer Warlick, assisted by Von Werne, would tie it up 2-2. A goal from Tristan Carter would bring the score to 3-2 before the Pride would tie it 3-3. Late goals from William English (assisted by William Murray), Gregory Liebman, and William Murray would put the Pacers up 6-3.
- In the second, Devin Noonan, assisted by Von Werne, would give the Pacers a 7-3 lead. The Pride would go on a strong run to tie it 7-7 before a goal from Warlick would give the Pacers an 8-7 lead at the half.
- Noonan would tally early in the 3rd for a 9-7 score, while man-up goals from Riely Murray and Noonan, as well as an even-strength goal from Warlick, would give the Pacers a dominant 13-7 lead heading into the 4th.
- The Pride would add two goals in the 4th, but Daniel Ando woud make a few spectacular saves to keep the Pacers ahead. A goal from Brewer Warlick would help seal the 14-9 win for the Pacers.
