RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University men's lacrosse picked up their first conference win with a big 17-5 victory of Brevard College.

KEY POINTS
- The Pacers would go up early in the 1st period with two goals from Riely Murray, assisted by Adam Braden, for a 2-0 lead. Brevard would respond to tie it 2-2 before goals from Brewer Warlick and Devin Noonan (assisted by Drew Von Werne) would put WPU up 4-2.
- In the 2nd, William Murray and Riely Murray would tally quickly for a 6-2 lead. The Tornados would cut the score to 6-4 before a man-up goal from Brewer Warlick, assisted by William Murray, would put the Pacers ahead 7-4. Warlick would add another, assisted by Riely Murray, with Drew Von Werne and William Murray each adding goals for a 10-4 lead at the half.
- The Pacers would have a strong 3rd period, not allowing Brevard to score while William English, William Murray, Adam Braden, and Riely Murray would each find the back of the net for a 14-4 lead.
- In the final period, Devin Noonan and Riely Murray would put the Pacers up 16-4. Brevard would score late to cut the game to 16-5, but a final goal from Zachary Fields would help secure the 17-5 win for the Pacers.
