Averett University in a nonconference matchup, winning game one 9-1 and falling 4-2 in game two.

KEY POINTS
Game One
- Angelina Jones would post two sacrifice flys in the 2nd and the 4th innings to put the Pacers up 2-0. The Cougars would get on the board with a single in the bottom of the 5th as they trailed 2-1.
- A single from Logan Ayers and a single from Anna Suggs at the top of the 6th would increase the Pacers lead to 4-1.
- Doubles from Adanya Day and Megan McAnany would put the Pacers ahead 7-1 in the 7th. A triple from Logan Ayers would score McAnany for an 8-1 game, with Ayers scoring later for a 9-1 game.
Game Two
- The Pacers would get on the board first with a single from Adanya Day at the top of the 1st for a 1-0 lead. The Cougars would rally in the bottom of the 2nd with a single to right field to lead 2-1, before a double to right field would put them up 4-1. The Pacers would score in the 3rd on a fielder's choice, but would be unable to complete the rally and would fall 4-2.
