FERRUM, VA – William Peace University women's lacrosse fell by a score of 18-0 to Ferrum College.

KEY POINTS

The Panthers would get rolling early in the first period, notching 5 unanswered goals to take a 5-0 lead. McKinnley Shortt would put up several good saves for the Pacers, but the Panthers' defense would shut out the Pacers as Ferrum added 5 more in the 2nd for a 10-0 lead at the half.
The Pacers would hold Ferrum to just three goals in the third period as they took a 13-0 lead. The Panthers would gain some momentum in the final period and shut out the Pacers to increase their lead and take an 18-0 win.
