BUENA VISTA, VA -- William Peace University men's basketball set a new program record with a 74-67 win over SVU as they reached a new mark for most wins in a single season with 16 wins.

KEY POINTS
- The Knights would take an early 12-8 lead before layups from Shawn Jones would cut the score to 14-12.
- A strong push from the Knights would give them a 22-14 edge, but shots from behind the arc from Timothy Pettiford and Michael Dulin would close the gap to 22-20 before a jumper from Pettiford would tie it 22-22. Another shot from behind the arc would put the Pacers up 31-28 at the half.
- A shot from behind the arc and a layup from Beau Bryant would increase the Pacer lead to 39-30 at the start of the 2nd half.
- The Knights would rally to tie it 45-45 before taking a brief 49-47 lead, but a jumper from Pettiford would tie it again at 49-49.
