RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University Volleyball team was defeated in conference play against Greensboro College Saturday, October 28th. The Pacers fought hard but came up short as they lost 2-3 to the Pride. Today's match-up was held in Raleigh, NC at Hermann Athletic Center.
THE BASICS

The Pride took the first set against the Pacers 25-18.

During the second set the Pacers rallied as they beat the Pride 29-27. After this the two teams battled back and forth. The Pride took the third set 25-16, the Pacers took the fourth 25-21 and Greensboro took the last 15-11.

The Pacers competed well with the Pride who currently sits in second place in the conference.

NEXT GAME
The Pacers will host Pfeiffer University Tuesday, October 31st at 6:00PM in Raleigh, NC at the Hermann Athletic Center. This conference match-up will be the last home regular season game for the Pacers as they will be traveling to Brevard November 3rd for their last conference match-up of the season before tournament play.
