GREENSBORO, NC-- William Peace University men's basketball picked up a thrilling victory in the final seconds of play against USA South foe Greensboro College, winning by a score of 75-72.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pride would take an early 10-2 lead before a layup from Beau Bryant would cut the score to 10-4. Another layup from Bryant and a 3-pointer from Michael Dulin would chip away at the Pride's 16-11 lead. Bryant and Dulin would add several consecutive shots from behind the arc as the Pacers trailed by just 25-23. The Pride would go on a run to lead 35-26 before a layups from Bryant and Timothy Pettiford as well as a free throw from Bryant would put the score at 35-33. Dulin would add a few shots from the foul line to tie it 35-35 heading into halftime.
- The Pacers would take the lead early in the second half with a jumper from Tyler Parton and a layup from Pettiford to put the score at 45-43. The Pride would rally to go on a scoring run to lead 55-49, but free throws from Jalen Owens and Pettiford, as well as another 3-pointer from Dulinm would put the Pacers up 58-57. A free throw from Bryant would tie the game 65-65, but the Pride would get a few good stops for a 72-67 advantage. In the last minute, a dunk and a layup from Pettiford would put the Pacers in the lead by a score of 73-72. A good defensive rebound from Bryant would draw a late foul call, which Bryant would put away for a 75-72 advantage with just seconds remaining. The Pacers would hold on to that late to defeat the Pride 75-72.
