BREVARD, NC -- William Peace University men's basketball picked up their third win in a row with an 82-78 win over Brevard College. The Pacers also broke a program record for most road wins as they pick up their 7th road win this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first five minutes of the first half would be tight, with Brevard tying it 10-10. The Pacers would go on a run to lead 18-10 with 3-pointers from Timothy Pettiford and Malachi Borders as well as a layup from Beau Bryant. A few jumpers from Pettiford would increase the lead to 25-16, though the Tornados would rally late to trail just 31-25. A jumper from William Jenkins and another shot from behind the arc from Dulin would put the Pacers ahead 36-27 at the half.
- A layup from Dulin and a jumper from Pettiford would put the Pacers ahead 43-31 early in the second half. A few strong stops from Brevard would see them come within 6 points as they trailed 47-41, but a jumper and a few free throws from Tyler Parton would give the Pacers a double-digit lead with a score of 54-43. A few free throws from Shawn Jones would keep them ahead by 10 as they led 60-50 before a 3-pointer from Dulin would give the Pacers a 65-52 advantage. Layups from Bryant and Parton as well as a few shots from the foul line from Pettiford would bring the score to 76-66. The Tornados would make a late run to trail by just 80-78 with under 30 seconds remaining, but a few final free throws from Borders would secure the 82-78 win for the Pacers.
