Pacers Fall To DII Chowan University

MURFREESBORO, NC – William Peace University women's lacrosse fell 17-3 to DII Chowan University. The Pacers will look to bounce back in conference play as they head to NCWC on March 23rd.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks would control much of the first half of play, going up 9-0 on the Pacers through two periods. Hawks' goalkeeper Ariel Johnson would make several good saves to keep the Pacers off the board, while Pacer goalkeeper Aryal Brandon would be strong in net as she made ten saves between the pipes throughout the game.

In the third period, Madison Bradley would get the Pacers on the board with a goal from the free position as they trailed 9-1. Bradley would again score late in the third to cut the Chowan lead to 11-2. The Hawks would continue to put the pressure on in the final period of play, though Evelyn Johnson would find the back of the net to put the score at 15-3. Chowan would add two late goals to secure a 17-3 win over the Pacers.
