Women's Lacrosse Falls To Quakers

GREENSBORO, NC – William Peace University women's lacrosse fell to the Guilford Quakers by a score of 17-9. Madison Bradley continued with the strong start to her season as she tallied 6 goals and 1 assist.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pacers would get on the board first with an early first-period goal from Madison Bradley. The Quakers would add three quick goals to lead 3-1, but another goal from Madison Bradley would cut their lead to 3-2. Aryal Brandon would make a few good saves to keep the game at 3-2 heading into the second period.

The Quakers would shut-down the Pacers in the second period, tallying six goals while holding the Pacers off the scoresheet to lead 9-2 heading into halftime. Samantha Autry would get the Pacers back in the game with two quick goals in the third period to cut Guilford's lead to 9-4. Madison Bradley would add another as the Pacers trailed 12-5, with Brittany Wortman adding the last of the period to put the score at 14-6.

The Quakers would continue to press in the final period, notching a quick goal from Sydney Sawyer to lead 15-6. Madison Bradley would respond with two more goals in the period to cut the Quakers' lead to 16-8. She would add one final goal from the free position, but the Pacers would fall 17-9.
