BEREA, KY-- William Peace University men's basketball took down Berea College 77-69 following a strong second half from the Pacers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pacers would take an early 8-3 lead on shots from behind the arc from Malachi Borders and Michael Dulin. Berea would go on a strong run to take a 12-10 lead over the Pacers. Borders would add another 3 to tie the game 17-17 before another strong run from the Mountaineers would put them up 36-21. The Pacers would battle back with a few jumpers from Beau Bryant and a 3-pointer from Michael Dulin to trail by just 36-31. Berea would keep the advantage heading into halftime by a score of 38-34.
- Early layups from Timothy Pettiford and Dulin would tie it 40-40 at the start of the second half. A few good stops from Berea would put them up 54-47, but a shot from behind the arc from Borders would bring the Pacers close as they trailed 54-52. A few layups from Shawn Jones and a free throw from Pettiford would keep the Pacers within 2 as they trailed 63-61. A 3-pointer from Bryant, a free throw from Pettiford, and a fastbreak layup from Jones would put the Pacers up 69-67 with just a few minutes remaining. Bryant would add a few more points with Borders adding two from the foul line to increase the score to 75-67. A few final free throws from Borders would help secure the 77-69 win for the Pacers.

- Malachi Borders notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
- Beau Bryant also tallied a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
FOR THE FOES
- Trey Minter led Berea with 26 points.
