HOW IT HAPPENED
Set One (25-23)
The start of the set would be a back-and-forth matchup as it would be tied 11-11 early. A kill from Hannah Collier would tie it again 17-17, while kills from Landis Limon and Shelby Cooper would put the Pacers up 20-19. Two kills from Georgia Grace Anderson and a kill from Hannah Collier would end the set 25-23 for the Pacers.
Set Two (19-25)
The second set would again be tied 7-7 early, but Meredith would take a brief 14-12 lead before a kill from Kelsey Bierbauer would tie it 15-15. A few quick runs from the Avenging Angels would put the score at 24-18, and they would hold off the Pacers to win 25-19 and tie the game 1-1.
Set Three (25-16)
The Pacers would go on a 5-point run early in the third set to lead 7-6 with a few aces from
Hannah Collier. An ace from
Logan Moore would help put the Pacers up 11-7, while a big 6-point run with kills from Collier and an ace from
Hannah Ward would put the score at 20-12, while kills from Collier,
Landis Limon, and
Shelby Cooper would end the set 25-16 for the Pacers.
Set Four (25-15)
The Pacers would dominate the final set, taking a 5-1 lead early. A 5-point run with kills from Kelsey Bierbauer and Georgia Grace Anderson would bring the score to 10-2, while a few more runs would put the Pacers up 19-9. A few final kills from Shelby Cooper, Landis Limon, and Kelsey Bierbauer would end the set 25-15 and the game 3-1 for the Pacers.
