RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University volleyball took down Methodist 3-0 to pick up their 19th win of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Set One (25-15)
The start of the first set would be a close battle as it would be tied 7-7 early. A 6-point run with kills from
Shelby Cooper and
Kelsey Bierbauer would put the Pacers up 18-11. An ace from Cooper and another kill from Bierbauer would put the score at 22-13, while a final ace from
Hannah Ward would end the set 25-15.
Set Two (25-12)
The Pacers would dominate the second set, taking a 6-3 lead with kills from
Shelby Cooper and
Georgia Grace Anderson. A 7-point run with kills from Anderson, Cooper, and
Kelsey Bierbauer would put them up 14-3. A 5-point run with kills from Cooper, blocks from
Landis Limon and Cooper, and a kill from Limon would put them up 24-9, with a final kill from Cooper ending the set 25-12.
Set Three (25-19)
In the final set, kills from
Georgia Grace Anderson and
Kelsey Bierbauer as well as an ace from
Shelby Cooper would put the Pacers up 9-5. A 5-point run with an ace from
Mackenzie Russell and kills from
Landis Limon, Cooper, and
Hannah Collier would give the Pacers a 20-11 lead.
The Monarchs would battle back to trail 24-19, but a final kill from Collier would end the set 25-19 and the game 3-0.
