HOW IT HAPPENED
Set One (25-10)
The Pacers would dominate the first set, going on a 6-point run with kills from Jordan Juanes, Landis Limon, and Shelby Cooper to lead 6-0. Another 6-point run with aces from Cooper and a few kills from Georgia Grace Anderson and Kelsey Bierbauer would put the score at 15-3. Kills from Cooper, Limon, and Bierbauer would end the set 25-10.
Set Two (25-8)
The Pacers would again take a big 7-1 lead in the second set with kills from Madeline Simpson, Jordan Juanes, and Landis Limon. Kills from Mackenzie Russell, Hannah Collier, and Landis Limon would put the score at 18-6. An ace and a kill from Collier and another kill from Juanes would end the set 25-8 for the Pacers.
Set Three (25-15)
In the final set, the Battling Bishops would take an early 10-6 lead. A four-point run with a kill from
Chassie Jacops would bring the Pacers within one as they trailed 12-11. A huge 12-point run with kilsl from
Tameka Adams,
Keslee Hylton,
Hannah Collier, and
Casey Dees as well as a few aces from
Hannah Ward would put the Pacers up 23-13. Final kills from Hylton and
Ashley Wyrick would end the set 25-15 and the game 3-0.
