HOW IT HAPPENED

The Pacers would get out to an early 7-3 lead on a layup from Stephanie Chandler. A few free throws from Cierra Baker and Pamela Mock, plus a jumper from Kiera Williams, would put the Pacers up 13-5. Mary Baldwin would battle back within 5 as they trailed 19-14, with a final layup from Stephanie Chandler putting the Pacers up 23-14 heading into the 2nd quarter.
A few early 3-pointers from the Fighting Squirrels would put Mary Baldwin in striking distance as they trailed 27-24. Stephanie Chandler would add a shot from behind the arc and a layup, while Cierra Baker would add a jumper to put the Pacers up 34-24. Mary Baldwin would continue to battle back as they would trail by 3 heading into halftime with a score of 36-33.
