Women's Basketball Falls To Pride

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University women's basketball fell to Greensboro College 87-63. The Pacers now move to 3-10 overall and 2-5 in the conference.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Pacers would take an early 10-8 lead with a jumper and shot from the foul line by Pamela Mock. The Pride would go on a run to lead 17-13. A layup from Joslyn Ayers would cut the Pride lead to 20-15, but the Pride would head into the 2nd quarter leading 25-15.
  • A jumper and shot from the foul line by Alyssa Brake would bring the score to 32-20 as the Pacers trailed early in the 2nd. A strong run from Greensboro would put them ahead 48-25 heading into halftime.
  • A few free throws from Kiera Williams and a jumper from Stephanie Chandler would bring the score to 50-28 as the Pride continued to lead. Layups from Pamela Mock and Stephanie Chandler would cut down the Pride lead to 56-35, but the Pride would go on a run to lead 69-36, with a few final free throws putting them up 73-39 at the end of the 3rd quarter.
