HOW IT HAPPENED
1st through 4th - The first two innings of the game went scoreless as both pitchers,
Austin Skipper and Payne Stolsworth, battled it out. A hit from Brad Pennington would get Drifton Padgett through to home plate to get the first score of the game. The Pacers would respond in the bottom of the 3rd inning with a homerun from Tyshawn Barret as he also got
Gavin Taylor through to home plate to make the score 2-1. In the fourth inning, the Pacers would be the only ones to score as
Tate Proctor found his way back to home plate, making the score 3-1.
5th through 9th -In the sixth inning,
Sean Roseborough would be the only person to get through home plate as he hit a homerun to extend the Pacers lead (4-1). The Bishops would dominate the 7th inning as they would go on a 7-point run to take the lead with a score of 8-4. The scoring for the Bishops would come from Brad Pennington, Nate Hibbs, Davie Morgan, Jackson Hobbs, Zach Lyon, Alec Titmus, and Jackson Murray. This would be the last time either team would score as the Bishops would take home the win, with a final score of 8-4.
