Women's Basketball Battles To First Conference Win

RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University women's basketball defeated Methodist University in their home and conference opener by a score of 74-73. The Pacers would lead by just one at halftime, and would continue to battle to come away with the win against the Monarchs.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The game would be a back-and-forth contest early, with a jumper from Pamela Mock putting the Pacers up 9-7. A few free throws from Kiera Williams would bring the score to 11-7, with a jumper from Ninevah Reddick putting the Pacers ahead 17-14. A final jumper from Kiera Williams would send the Pacers into the second quarter leading 23-18.
