FERRUM, VA -- William Peace University men's soccer concluded the regular season with an impressive 7-0 win over the Ferrum Panthers. The Pacers, who claimed the USA South East Division Regular Season title, will now look ahead to the USA South Conference Tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Pacers would dominate the early game, with a goal from
Danny Alvarez at 12:27, assisted by
Jorge Lemus and
TJ Hurd, getting them a 1-0 lead.
Ivan Ponce would score on the rebound of
Alex Hernandez's shot at 14:50 to increase the lead to 2-0. Goalkeeper
Tripp Kidd would make a few key saves in the first half to keep the Panthers off the board. The Pacers would continue to challenge goalkeeper Chris Rodriguez, but he would make a few good saves to send the game into halftime 2-0.
In the second half,
Andres Lopez would break through at 68:30, assisted by
Caleb Bullock, to bring the score to 3-0. The Pacers would control most of the possession, and
Caleb Bullock would tuck one in at 74:02 to give the Pacers a 4-0 lead.
Elysee Blague would find
Gustavo Salas at 85:41 after several minutes of good opportunities to increase the score to 5-0. Minutes later,
Esteban Barillas would cross to
Travis Garner-McGraw, who would find the back of the net to bring the score to 6-0. In the final seconds of the game, Garner-McGraw would crash the net to score off the rebound of
Gustavo Salas to end the game 7-0 in favor of the Pacers.
