Pacers Secure Another Conference Win With High Scoring Game Against Pfeiffer

The Pacers wold come ou ton top in a high scoring game against Pfeiffer University in a USA South Conference matchup by a score of (118-91). The Pacers started strong (5-0) and continued to roll to lead (65-40) at the half. The second half the Pacers increased their lead to a 30-point lead. Tyson Sellers, John Burwell, and Camden Fergurson lead the offense in a total of 65 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Pacers had a great start to lead (5-0) over Pfeiffer university. Tyson Sellers led the Pacers with 6 points and 12 minutes left in the first half. Pfeiffer University would take a brief (20-19) lead before Donolly Tyrell Jr. scored 2 points to put the Pacers ahead (21-20) with 10:30 left in the game. Camden Ferguson had a huge block to assist Trey Bryant for a big dunk, which extended the lead to (23-20). Pfeiffer brought the score to (22-23) but Ti'Quan Whitemore answered back with a 3 pointer to extend the Pacers lead to (26-24). 
  • The last 4 minutes of the first half the Pacers and the Falcons went back and forth in scoring, but the Pacers were able to keep their lead (45-35) with 2:23 left in the first half. Camden Ferguson hit a 3-pointer which allowed the Pacers to have a 20 point lead on the Falcons with 1:37 left in the first half. At the end of the first half the Pacers led (65-40) with Tyson Sellers scoring 20 points and John Burwell scoring 16 points in the first half. 
  • The start of the second half the Pacers would win the tip-off and quickly score to extend the lead to (67-40). The second half was back and forth between the teams but Ti'Quan Whitmore and Trey Bryant would both hit 3-pointers to bring the Pacerslead to (82-62). 
  • Tyson Sellers and Camden Ferguson both came up big scoring, 12 points to take the lead (100-75). With 3:07 left in the second half the Pacers gained a lead of 34 points against the Falcons (114-80). The Pacers continued to hold off the Falcons to win the game (118-91).
