HOW IT HAPPENED
  • The Bishops got the game started early with a mid-range jump shot from AJ Frye. Soon after the Pacers would go on a 9-point run to take over the lead from the Bishops (12-4). The Bishops would respond quickly with a 13-point run of their own to reclaim their dominance over the game (12-18). After that scoring run, the scoring would be quite even between the two teams.
  • The Pacers would work hard to reclaim a lead with multiple 3-pointers and layups to close the gap, but the Bishops did not let up. The Bishops went on to have a game-high lead of 14 points (53-39). In the last few minutes of the game the Pacers were able to close the gap with 3-pointer by Tyson Sellers and a layup by Donolly Tyrell Jr.
  • Tyson Sellers got the second half started on a high note for the Pacers with a 3-pointer to close the gap to only 6 points (47-53). In the next play the Donolly Tyrell Jr. would get a steal and take it all the way down for a layup to give the Pacers a big boost (49-53). A clutch layup by Trey Bryant would get the Pacers back into arms reach of regaining the lead for the Pacers. Finally, a 3-pointer by Tyson Sellers would see the Pacers tie up the game (66-66).
  • Soon after the Pacers were able to tie the game, the Bishops would go on a 16-point run in an attempt to break away from the Pacers (82-66). The Pacers did not shy away from the challenge as they continued to knock down a few 3-pointers and some jump shots. However, it would not be enough as the Bishops would walk away with the win (84-99).
