The William Peace University women's basketball team continued their winning streak as they defeated Methodist University (78-52).
Mikayla Ray recorded her 1000th career rebound as she tallied 6 rebounds for the Pacers. The Pacers went on a run early in the first quarter to lead (49-24) at halftime, and would go on to secure the victory (78-52).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nautica Smiley would put the Pacers up immediately with a shot from behind the arc (3-0). Another 3-pointer from Smiley would give WPU a (6-2) advantage, while a layup by Khadijah Daniels would bring the score to (12-2). The Pacers would continue to press the lead and would end the first quarter leading (15-10).
- The Pacers would get on a roll to start the second quarter, with a shot from behind the arc by Lauryn Cross giving them a (20-10) lead. Mariah Partin's 3-pointer would bring the score to (23-13) in favor of WPU, while Jaymesha Sanders' jumper would give the Pacers a controlling (29-16) lead over Methodist. A 3-pointer by Cierra Baker would bring the score to (34-18), while a 3-pointer by Chrystal Jerome brought the score to (41-18). The Pacers would head into halftime leading (49-24).
- Mariah Partin and Jaymesha Sanders would start the third quarter off for WPU as they continued to lead (52-29). Lauryn Cross would hit two consecutive 3-pointers to give the Pacers a (66-35) advantage. Kiera Williams would drive to the net for 2 points to send the Pacers into the fourth quarter with a (70-40) lead.
- Methodist would start off the fourth quarter with a push as they went on a 14-point run to bring the score to (70-54). Shelby Wolfe would tally a point from the foul line to start off the Pacers (71-54). The Pacers held off Methodist, with Jamesha Sanders and Khadijah Daniels tallying the final points and securing a (75-58) win for WPU.
