Bruins score late to top Pacers

Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University women's soccer team fell to Bob Jones University by a score of 2-0. The Pacers now drop to a record of 2-4-1.

The Pacer defense was challenged early in the first half as Bob Jones controlled possession and kept play in the Pacer end. Keeper Kasey Wilkins was challenged early in net at 6:56 but she was quick on her feet and kept the game tied at zero. WPU would get a chance at 24:50 when Gabrielle Jones hit the crossbar, but the Pacers were unable to convert. The game would head into halftime tied at zero.

In the second half, the Bruins continued to press the Pacer defense. Keeper Makenzie Jones entered the game for WPU in the second half and made her first save at 52:43 to keep the game tied at zero.
