Women's Lacrosse Picks Up Conference Win On the Road Over Greensboro

How it Happened:

The Pride would open the game with a goal in the opening minute of action, but the Pacers would respond on a 6-0 run to take a 6-1 advantage in the first eight minutes. Rylie Toomey would have a hat trick in the opening run, and Dana Florian would have two goals and two assists.
The Pride cut the deficit to two with 14:11 remaining in the first half.
Rylie Toomey scored on a man-down scenario with 11 minutes left in the half, followed by back-to-back goals by Allison Schaper and two more from Florian.
In the last five minutes of the first half, Greensboro College would score two goals to head into halftime trailing, 11-6.
Florian opened the second half with her fifth goal of the game in the first 30 seconds of action.
The Pride would go on a 4-1 scoring run in the following six minutes to cut the Pacers' lead to three.
Greensboro and WPU traded goals in the next ten minutes, bringing the score to 15-12 with 16:18 minutes left in the game.
Allison Schaper scored four more goals in another big offensive stretch for the Pacers where they went on a 7-0 run with 7:29 remaining.
In the final minutes, the Pride would try to cut the point spread but the Pacer offense would prove too much for Greensboro, as WPU stole the victory on the road, 23-14.
