HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first quarter the Pacers came out of the gate strong, scoring 11 points before the Pacers would concede their first basket. Cierra Baker led the Pacers offensively in the first quarter scoring 5 points, with the Pacers leading at the end of the quarter (20-13).
- In the second quarter, the Pacers fought hard to maintain their dominance over the game. The Pacers would extend their lead by a maximum or 26 points, with numerous 3-pointers coming from Cierra Baker, Mariah Partin, and Jessie Moore. Khadijah Daniels would end the first half with a free throw to extend the Pacer lead to (45-23).
- Both teams would exchange scoring opportunities in the third quarter. The third quarter was the most even quarter of the game with the Pacers just outscoring the Monarchs (22-20). The Pacers would still maintain a dominant lead at the end of the quarter (67-43).
- In the fourth quarter, the Monarchs would outscore the Pacers (6-13). The Pacers however, would continue to maintain the lead without letting the Monarchs see a tied game and would win (73-56) over the Monarchs.
