HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cierra Baker would give WPU an early (5-2) lead in the first quarter as she drove under the net for a layup. She would add another 2 points on a fastbreak for a (7-4) lead. The Pacers would continue to hold the edge despite a push from the Quakers and would head into the second quarter leading (18-16)
- Eva Holloway would put WPU up (25-20) in the second quarter with a shot in the paint. Jaymesha Sanders would give the Pacers a (35-25) lead with a shot from behind the arch. The Pacers would head into halftime leading (36-27).
- A few made free throws by Mikayla Ray early in the third quarter would give the Pacers a (40-30) lead. Yamila Emanuel would add a few consecutive points late in the quarter to send the Pacers into the 4th leading (49-36).
- In the final quarter, a layup by Lauryn Cross would bring the score to (58-38) as WPU continued to hold the advantage over Guilford. Jaymesha Sanders would notch several consecutive points, including a 3-pointer that put WPU up (67-42). The Pacers continued to control the game and would win (73-56).
