HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Pacers and the Lions battled early to tie the game (16-16). The Pacers were on fire from behind the arch, Camden Ferguson and Beau Bryant each contributed two by going (2-2) from behind the arch. The Pacers went on a (7-2) scoring run to secure their first solid lead of the game.Â
- The Lions surged back to bring the score even (37-37). The Pacers responded by going on another (7-2) scoring run to put them up (44-37). The Pacers extended their lead to nine (50-41) with Trey Bryant contributing 7 rebounds and 8 points in the first half.Â
- The Pacers extended their lead after halftime with shots from behind the arch from Camden Ferguson and a lay-up from Mikal Gaylord. This put the Pacers up (78-64) with their largest lead of the game.
- The Pacers continued to lead for the majority of the second half until the Lions went on a (14-4) scoring run to bring the Lions within one (85-84) with 4:22 left in the game. Camden Ferguson had a shot from behind the arch to regain the lead (88-87) late in the second half.Â
- Mikal Gaylord went (2-2) from the foul line to put the Pacers up (93-91). Efforts by Camden Ferguson, Beau Bryant, and Tyson Sellers from behind the arch would not be enough to hold of the Piedmont Lions. The Lions would make a late push in the final minute of the game to put them on top (96-93).Â

FOR THE FOES
- Miles Riley tallied 25 points to go along with 4 rebounds.
- Jordan Foote posted a double-double with 14 rebounds and 24 points for the Lions.
STATS OF THE GAME
- The Pacers shot 40% compared to Piedmont's 65.5%.
- WPU posted 37 rebounds to Piedmont's 35 with 18 being offensive.
NEXT GAME
The Pacers will host Berea College for another USA South Conference match-up on December 18th. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 PM in the Hermann Athletic Center.
