How it Happened
  • In the first half, the Pacers started off strong on defense. John Burwell returned to the Pacer lineup this year and had a nice layup off a turnover.
  • Late in the first half, the Generals took the largest lead of the game (45-31) with (2:50) remaining. John Burwell made two nice plays offensively to give the Pacers hope heading into the locker room trailing (54-40).
  • Mikal Gaylord hits a big three to kick off the second half giving him ten points today. John Burwell continued to put pressure on the Washington and Lee offense forcing multiple turnovers.
  • William Brueggeman hit four of his last five shots the Generals offense built on his success shooting. Just about midway through the game, the Generals had the largest lead of the game (78-47).
  • The Pacers scored on three straight possessions led by Mikal Gaylord's three pointer. A Pacer seven to nothing run was what they needed to make a push. Trey Bryant made a nice move in the paint followed by Beau Bryant. The high-powered General offense was too much in this afternoon's game and the Pacers fall (100-82).
