Lynchburg, VA -- The William Peace University women's volleyball team fell to the University of Lynchburg by a score of 3-0 on October 4th, 2019. The Pacers now drop to a record of 11-5.

Brittany Carpenter tied it 16-16 with a kill. Another kill by Carpenter would give the Pacers a 20-17 advantage as they continued their offensive push. Lynchburg would dig in and tally six in a row to win set two 25-21 and take a 2-0 lead in the match.
The third and final set was tied early 2-2 on a kill by
Brianna Davis. The Hornets began to pull away, recording seven consecutive points for a 18-9 lead over WPU.
