Johnston City, TN — The William Peace men's golf team competed at East Tennessee Collegiate, hosted by Milligan, tournament on September 30th and October 1st, 2019 and finished 9th out of 9 teams. Faulkner University would take home the title.
Freshman Tanner Steffens led the Pacers on day one of the East Tennessee Collegiate, shooting a 74 and sat tied for 7th after the first day of action. The Pacers would check in at 8th out of 9th after the first day of action with a score of 312.
The Pacers would struggle on day two and found themselves moving down to 9th place. Sophomore Alec Brooks continued his impressive play as he led the Pacers on day two shooting a 73 which left him with an overall 151. Brooks finished tied for 22 overall.
