How It Happened:

• The Cougars would put the first points on the board in tonight's matchup when Timothy Henry hit a long three pointer

• Smith Gupton put the Pacers on the board continuing his impressive shooting as of late

• Averett would control the lead early, but baskets from Jason Dudley and Paul Dunlap closed the lead to only one with 15:08 to go in the first half

• Camden Ferguson's hot three point shooting would put the Pacers ahead for the first time in the game.

• Tre McLean's leadership was present tonight with two big back to back three pointers putting the Pacers up by eight

• Trey Bryant collected his first basket after returning from an injury last week

• Mikal Gaylord and Camden Ferguson both had baskets in the final minutes but Vince Contreras and Isaiah Jones helped the Cougars take the (44-41) lead going into the second half

• Vince Contreras started the second half with a layup with the and one

• Mikal Gaylord continue to impress with the point guard role finding himself in double figures for points again tonight

• Two Technical fouls on Trey Bryant put the Cougars up by 13 as they would make all their free-throws

• Tyson Sellers responded with a big three pointer and Camden Ferguson had one as well which cut the lead to eleven (11:47)

• Trailing by only five points with just under five minutes, the Pacers were unable to find an offensive rhythm and wouldn't be able to catch up to the Cougars

Pacer Top Performers 

• Tre McLean finished with 17 points and was perfect from the free throw line

• Mikal Gaylord also tallied 17 points

• Camden Ferguson and Tyson Sellers both hit four three pointers in tonight's game

For the Foes

• Vince Contreras was the star for the Cougars scoring 23 points shooting 60% from the floor

• Jalen Burnett had clutch shots throughout the game and finished with 14 points
