Women's Tennis Falls To Greensboro Pride

Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The William Peace University women's tennis team fell to the Pride of Greensboro College on Wednesday afternoon. This was the first conference match for the Pacers.

Alex Young and Mackenzie Braden found victory in their singles matches taking their opponent to three sets. Young defeated Caroline Price with a come-from-behind win finishing 5-7, 6-4, 6-3. Mackenzie Braden also battled back to defeat Greensboro's Samantha Lopez, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. These two wins marked the first singles match victories for Braden and Young.

The WPU women's tennis team faces Ferrum College March 10, at 12:00 p.m. The Pacers will host the Panthers at home on the Ragland Tennis Courts.
