Raleigh, NC—The William Peace University women's basketball team fell 95-62 to Brevard College on January 10, 2018. The Pacers now drop to an overall record of (2-8) and a conference record of (2-3). The Pacers struggled in the first half. Mikayla Ray went into half with 9 points along with 7 points by Deja Umstead and 6 points from Jayde Grant. Ray would end the game with 28 points and 8 rebounds, followed by 17 points and 8 rebounds from Jayde Grant.
At the start of the second half, the Pacers continued to struggle while Brevard shot 56.5% from three. Ty'She Washington scored 17 for Brevard to include her in the group of 5 who scored in double figures. The Pacers were out rebounded 46-32. The Pacers would continue to battle and outscored Brevard in the 4th quarter 22-21.

· Jayde Grant scored 17 points and had 8 rebounds

· Ty'She finished scored 17 points shooting 73%
· Deja Riddick shot 3-3 from 3 and finished with 15 points

WHAT'S NEXT
The Pacers will face Methodist University at home on January 13, 2018. Methodist comes into the contest at 1-12 overall and 1-4 in conference. Tip-off is set at 2pm in the Hermann Athletic Center.
