GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The William Peace University men's basketball team fell to Greensboro College, 106-97, on Saturday afternoon. The Pacers dropped their fourth straight game and fall to 10-9 on the season and 3-5 in the conference.
Ryan Emfinger led the team with 20 points.
Jay Hicks scored 13 and
Jalen Vince and
Camden Ferguson added 12 each.
The Pacers fell behind in the first half and couldn't keep pace with the Pride in the second half. The Pacers deficit continued to grow in the second half and ballooned to more than 20 points late in the second half. William Peace scored enough points late to get the game within nine, but never got close to the Pride.
