SALEM, VA – The William Peace University men's soccer team finished up their weekend at the Roanoke College Soccer Invitational on Saturday. The Pacers fell to the hosting Maroons, 5-0.
WPU (0-5) allowed four goals in the first half before tightening things up defensively on the other side of the break, until Roanoke (3-2) tacked on one more with less than two minutes remaining. While the Pacers defense showed signs of improvements in the second half, their offensive woes continue. WPU only managed to take one shot the entire match.
The Pacers men's soccer team will be back in action this week, traveling to take on Randolph-Macon on Wednesday, Sept. 16 at 4:30 p.m.
