GREENSBORO, NC – The William Peace men's soccer team traveled to Greensboro College Wednesday afternoon, where the Pacers fell, 2-0.
WPU (2-12, 2-5 USAS) found themselves down, 1-0, in the 14th minute, as Carlos Barragan found Craig Gage for the goal. Barragan scored a goal of his own in the 25th, putting Greensboro (7-4-1, 4-0-1 USAS) ahead by two on a penalty kick.
The Pacers held Greensboro scoreless the rest of the way, but they weren't able to generate enough offense with only three shots in the second half, all three of which came from senior
Enrique Ochoa.
The WPU men's soccer team will be back in action this Saturday, October 17 at 3:00 p.m. against the Battling Bishops of North Carolina Wesleyan.
