Rebecca Fraser - Head wax coach 2025

Rebecca Fraser

Rebecca Fraser currently serves as both the Head Sports Performance Coach and Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at William Peace University. Fraser was appointed as Head Lacrosse Coach in May 2025 after serving as Interim during the spring season.

In her first season as interim head coach, Fraser guided the Pacers to a 2–9 overall record and a 2–8 mark in USA South Conference play. Despite the challenges of a rebuilding year, her leadership was instrumental in securing a postseason berth, with the team earning the No. 8 seed in the USA South Tournament after defeating Pfeiffer University in overtime, 9-8.

Fraser played soccer and lacrosse at NCAA Division II Barton College. She was a five-time All-Conference selection in lacrosse for Conference Carolinas and led the conference in ground balls every season from 2017 to 2021. She also ranked first in caused turnovers per game in four of those five years. A two-time NCAA Division II statistical national champion in ground balls per game (2017, 2021), she finished her career in 2021 as the NCAA’s active career leader in ground balls across all divisions; the Division II active career leader in ground balls per game, caused turnovers per game, and total caused turnovers; and second in active career caused turnovers across all NCAA divisions.

She holds Barton’s all-time records for ground balls (326) and caused turnovers (183) and ranked among the NCAA’s top three in ground balls per game for five consecutive seasons. In addition to her lacrosse accomplishments, Fraser earned All-Conference honors in women’s soccer.
