Gillian Faski begins her first year as Sports Information Assistant at William Peace University in 2026-27, joining the Pacer Athletics staff on August 3, 2026.
Faski assists with media relations, game-day communications, live statistics, website management, digital content, and social media while serving as the primary communications contact for multiple varsity sports.
Before arriving at Peace, Faski served as an Athletic Communications Intern at Winthrop University, where she was the primary statistician for women's lacrosse while supporting multiple sports through game notes, press releases, graphic design, in-game social media coverage, and game-day operations.
Prior to Winthrop, Faski worked with the Columbia Fireflies, helping grow the club's social media audience by more than 10 percent while producing content that generated more than 2.9 million views across digital platforms. She also gained experience in athletic communications at George Washington University, creating the department's most-liked and most-viewed Instagram reel while helping drive record-breaking engagement across multiple NCAA women's sports.
Her communications background also includes roles with the athletic departments at North Carolina, Stanford, Towson, Elon, and South Carolina, along with experience at UNC Athletics, The Daily Tar Heel, and Tobacco Road FC.
A North Carolina native, Faski earned a Master of Science in Sport & Entertainment Management from the University of South Carolina in 2026 after receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2023.
