Cameron Davis enters her third season as Assistant Softball Coach at William Peace University in 2027 after joining the coaching staff prior to the 2025 season.
Since arriving in Raleigh, Davis has helped the Pacers reach the USA South Conference Tournament in both seasons on staff while contributing to multiple all conference selections and victories over nationally ranked opponents.
Prior to William Peace, Davis served as a Softball Graduate Assistant at Columbus State University during the 2023-24 academic year. In her role, she assisted with practice planning and execution, scouting, recruiting, gameday preparation, equipment organization, facility maintenance, and statistical tracking.
Before beginning her coaching career, Davis was a standout collegiate softball player at Shepherd University from 2020-23. During her playing career, she earned multiple regional and national honors, including D2CCA Third Team All-American recognition in 2021, First Team NFCA All-Atlantic Region honors, and multiple First Team All-PSAC East selections.
Davis also earned CSC Academic All-District honors in 2023 while being recognized as Shepherd University’s Outstanding Student in Therapeutic Recreation in 2022.
A native of Ayden, North Carolina, Davis earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation from Shepherd University in 2023 before completing her Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and Leadership Development from Columbus State University in 2024.
