Previous Coaching Experience
  • Prior to joining the Pacers, Barringer served as an Assistant Volleyball Coach at Catawba College during the 2017 season.
  • While earning her Masters in Business Administration, Barringer coached as a Volleyball Graduate Assistant at Averett University from 2015-2017.
Education
  • Barringer completed her undergraduate degree at Averett, graduating magma cum laude in Criminal Justice and Sociology with a minor in Communication Studies.
  • Barringer also received a Masters in Business Administration from Averett.
Playing Career
  • During her time at Averett University, Barringer was a four-time All-Conference volleyball player and was honored as the USA South Conference Woman of the Year in 2015. 
  • Barringer served as the President of the USA South Athletic Conference Student Athlete Advisory Committee and was a National NCAA Student Athlete Advisory Committee representative in 2015 and 2016. Barringer proudly served as a representative for the NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics from 2014-2016.
Additional Information
  • A native of Landis, NC, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching her brother play football, traveling, and being active.
