Coach Holmes joined the Pacers in the Fall of 2020 as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach. Holmes previously served as the Head Coach at South Garner High School between 2018-2020 and the Assistant Coach at Saint Augustine University between 2017-2020. Holmes also has numerous coaching experience at the High School and AAU level in addition to camp experience with Kay Yow, Silvia Hatchel, and within higher education.
Holmes graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Sports Management. He was previously a member of the US Army for 21 years. Holmes currently resides in Fuquay-Varina with his two daughters, granddaughter, and wife.
