Sabrina Shepherd, a Selma, N.C. native, embarks on her inaugural season as Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at William Peace for the 2023-24 season.
A distinguished four-year student-athlete at Salem College in Winston-Salem, N.C., Shepherd earned accolades such as Team MVP, N.C. Collegiate Sports Information Association Second-Team College Division All State, and D3Hoops All-Region third team. Her prowess includes three consecutive all-conference selections during the 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18 seasons.
Shepherd is Salem's career leader in three-pointers made and third all-time in total rebounds. Notably, she etched her name as Salem's all-time leading scorer, amassing 1,493 career points. She holds a B.A .in Psychology from Salem College (2017) and furthered her education with an M.Ed in School Counseling from the same institution in 2020.
