William Peace University welcomed Coach Knussman in the summer of 2019.

Knussman was a two-time, NFCA 1st Team All-American while playing at Salisbury University (2013-16) where she played multiple positions and was among the top hitters in the country.  She was a two-time, CoSIDA 3rd Team Academic All-American and was an All-Conference 1st Team selection all four years. Salisbury played in the National Championship Series each year from 2013 to 2015 and finished as the runner-up in 2014, during which Knussman was named to the NCAA All-Tournament team. In 2015 she also garnered the honor of the Salisbury Regional Tournament Most Outstanding Player.

Knussman currently holds the Capital Athletic Conference record for career batting average (.448) and finished second in school and conference history in total RBIs (192).  Knussman comes to WPU from Salisbury, Maryland, where she worked for Salisbury as an Assistant Coach for the past three seasons. She is a graduate of Easton (MD) High School, which won the 2-A state softball championship in 2010 and 2011.

Paige holds a B.S. in Exercise Science and a Masters in Post-Secondary and Higher Education from Salisbury University.
