Drew Shaw enters his second season as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at William Peace University in 2026-27 after joining the program prior to the 2025-26 season.
Shaw arrived in Raleigh following the 2024-25 season at Penn State Harrisburg, where he served as head assistant coach and helped guide the Lions to an 18-9 overall record.
Prior to Penn State Harrisburg, Shaw spent three seasons as a student assistant coach at Guilford College, his alma mater. During his time with the Quakers, Guilford produced three consecutive winning seasons, highlighted by a 26-win campaign and a trip to the 2024 NCAA Division III Final Four. Shaw also helped the Quakers reach the ODAC Championship Game during the 2022-23 season.
At William Peace, Shaw contributes to all areas of the program, including recruiting, player development, scouting, and game-day preparation.
A native of Dallas, North Carolina, Shaw was a four-sport athlete at North Gaston High School, earning all-conference honors in basketball and tennis while also lettering in baseball and cross country.
