RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace University women's soccer has been recognized with the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for its performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year.

The Pacers, led by head coach Becky Scroger, posted a 3.19 team grade point average to earn the national academic honor.

To qualify for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, programs must post a team GPA of 3.0 or higher during the academic year. William Peace was one of 460 women's soccer programs nationwide to receive the honor for 2025-26. A total of 793 soccer programs, including 333 men's and 460 women's teams, earned the award.

The recognition marks the sixth United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in program history and the first for the Pacers since 2020. William Peace previously earned the honor in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2020. Read the full release HERE.
