HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. - William Peace fell 7-0 to Hampden-Sydney on Wednesday afternoon at the H-SC Tennis Courts.
The Tigers opened the match by sweeping the doubles point. Hampden-Sydney secured victories on courts one and two, while the third doubles match was decided by forfeit to give the hosts an early 1-0 lead.
Hampden-Sydney continued its momentum in singles play, picking up straight-set wins across the lineup. The Tigers secured victories at Nos. 1 through 5 to complete the match result, while the No. 6 singles point was also awarded by forfeit.
Peace will look to regroup as they start conference play at Brevard on March 21st.
