CARY, N.C. – William Peace University women's soccer fell 4–0 to Columbia College (S.C.) on Wednesday afternoon at WakeMed Soccer Park.
The Koalas struck twice in the opening half and added two more goals after the break to secure the win. Columbia held a 18–3 advantage in shots and a 12–0 edge in corner kicks.
Goalkeeper Gaby Vazquez anchored the Pacer defense with eight saves, while Mia Rumachik and Samantha Fore recorded shots on goal.
Peace will return to action this weekend with a road match up against Randolph College with a kickoff set for 4 PM.
