NELLYSFORD, Va. – The William Peace University women's golf team was represented by Morghan and Madison Knight at the Knights Invitational on September 8–9, hosted by Southern Virginia University at Stoney Creek at Wintergreen Resort.

Morghan Knight improved 21 strokes from her opening round, scoring a 95 on Tuesday to finish with a two-day total of 211 (+67), placing 26th overall. Madison Knight also competed in her first collegiate tournament, scoring rounds of 122 and 99 for a total of 221 (+77), finishing 29th.

The Knights Invitational featured a strong lineup of regional programs, with Southern Virginia capturing the team title at 655 (+79).

William Peace will return to action on Tuesday, September 30th as they compete in the Battle 64 Invitational in Four Oaks.
