MISENHEIMER, NC - The William Peace University men's tennis team saw its 2025 season come to a close on Tuesday afternoon, falling 4-0 to Pfeiffer University in the opening round of the USA South Tournament at the Knapp Tennis Center in Misenheimer, N.C.
The Falcons came out strong in doubles play, claiming wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions to secure the early 1-0 advantage. WPU's top duo of Chapman Kinlaw and Juliann Starland were trailing 4-1 before their match was left unfinished.
In singles action, Pfeiffer earned straight-set victories at the No. 1, 3, and 4 spots to clinch the match. Starland, Buckler, and Kinlaw each battled but were unable to break through against the Falcon lineup.
The Pacers wrap up their season with a 2-8 overall record.
